Julie Prinsloo and I (Susan Spencer) imported Olderhill German Shepherds in1994 and have bred this magnificant working line ever since. (See www.olderhill.co.za and our updated site www.olderhill.webnode.com.)

 

We got involved with rescuing and rehoming dogs pretty much from when we started breeding and finally started aan animal welfare trust Pet Link-up. We have rehomed literally thousands of dogs - many of them from the SA police - and trained all but the lap dog breeds!

 

We had about 200 dogs at a time and learnt very quickly how to train VERY quickly. We taught the dogs obedience, attack work and tracking. In particular we re-trained the police's bloodhound x dobermans to track in 20 minutes, and that became our routine with all tracking training.
